fundraising to benefit children and FACT — two birds with one stone, yeah?!

Just wanted to share this email from Victoria, our Fundraising and Community Service co-chair, with everyone in case they missed it:

Hey Guys!

This is your FACT community service/fundraiser chair. At the past meetings we have discussed raising money to get gifts for children in the hospital. It’s a simple thing. You pick up a form from me or my co-chair and ask people to donate money to buy a gift for someone in the hospital (all these gifts help children’s cognitive functions and more).

If you have a form and read it, it’s somewhat complicated, so ignore the heading. Just make sure you write the persons name down and the amount of money donated. The main point is that every $30 you raise will go to purchasing one gift for a child. So someone can donate $5 and that’s fine. Once the donations add up to $30 bucks you have helped one child get a gift, pretty AWESOME, right?!
So, people who have forms and have received donations, contact me to give them to me or my co-chair. Money and forms need to be in by the 15th and 30th of the month. Those who have not received a form and would like one contact us too! It’s never to late to help brighten a child’s day!
