kodachromeva: FACT and KODACHROME are teaming up for the first time through a collaborative event. And it’s only logical for us to co-host a potluck style screening of the Manny Pacquiao VS Manuel Marquez III fight this Saturday night! Basically, it’s a Filipino national holiday. The crime-rate in the Philippines are at its lowest on Pacquiao fight nights. Manny is The Destroyer, The Mexicutioner, The Fighting Congressman, Pambansang Kamao (National Fist), The Fighting Pride of the Philippines, & last but certainly not least, The People’s Champ. IF YA SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL…LALALALA LA!Spend the day polishing your dance moves at KODACHROME VA’s Season III Workshop III at Dogtown Dance Studio taught by Natalia Ramos & guest teacher from New Jersey, Leslie Hubilla!The workshop ends at 7pm, JUST IN TIME FOR DINNER! Insert Potluck. This event is a fundraiser to help go towards food and PPV fees. We’ll be charging for admission:$5 per person$3 with food for 4We suggest VCU Freshmen utilize their swipes in the Student Commons (pizza, soda, chinese food trays, chicken wings, etc.) and downstairs Shafer so they do not go to waste when it comes time to leave for Winter Break. We greatly appreciate it.Due to capacity, there will be a cap for admission. We will cap entry at 50 people. Stay updated on capacity and reopening announcements through the FACT (@factvcu) & KODACHROME VA (@kodachromeva) Twitter accounts! But then once you digest all the good food, we’ll go burn it off with some more dancing dancing downtown at Kobe Japanese Steak & Sushi in support of the Joint Asian Organization Fundraising Party “VIP!” It’s from 10:00pm to 2:00am, $7 all night. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help raise money for the Joint Asian Orgs Semi-Formal in December.You can buy tables for 6 people for $150. That includes 6 shots, 6 beers, covers all 6 people, and the waitress attending you.
